The in-house processing centre at Techcombank (Vietnam) was successfully certified in ATM and POS retail acquiring and magnetic card issuing programmes at Visa International. The processing centre is built on TranzWare CMS, TranzWare Online and TranzWare Card Factory – products developed and distributed by Compass Plus. The launch of its own in-house processing centre will enable the Bank to significantly advance the level of customer service and will provide independence in Visa card processing from its former bank-sponsor. As part of the project TranzWare Online was integrated with Globus T24 system supplied by Temenos. As a result Techcombank is now capable of performing online authorisation based on customer bank accounts and also can provide its customers with an opportunity to make payments into any bank account by identifying the recipient’s requisites.

Techcombank and Compass Plus are planning to further strengthen their relationship and undertake a number of joint projects, including EMV migration. The implementation of the planned projects will allow the Bank to reinforce its position in the Vietnamese payment card market and to build a unique fraud protection system based on TranzWare Fraud Analyzer.

The successful certification of Compass Plus Processing Centre in the American Express international norms and standards of authorisation messages guarantees compatibility of the processing formats between the terminals connected to the Processing Centre and the American Express systems. The completion of this stage of the cooperation between the companies indicates that the Processing Centre has completed the transition to the new technological solution for working with American Express. This solution constitutes online and offline (clearing) interaction with the payment system within the framework of American Express card acquiring at the Processing Centre terminals.

Financial Institutions can not only use the Processing Centre services for American Express card acquiring in compliance with the new message authorisation format but will also receive an opportunity to obtain a complete technological solution based on TranzWare products that will enable Amex card acquiring in-house.
