Home News & events Press Releases 2009 Ural Bank for Reconstruction and Development rated customer-friendly and cutting-edge

logo_ubrrAccording to research by the Economy News Agency published in the Daily Economic News, The Ural Bank for Reconstruction and Development and its new eBank service from Compass Plus has been rated the second most customer-friendly and cutting-edge financial institution in the Ural Region offering Internet banking services to its customers.

The research is based on analysis of experts’ opinions posted in different Internet forums and opinions expressed during face-to-face interviews with the bank’s representatives. The results of the research can be viewed in the Internet Banking section in the Ural Region at the NEP 08 Daily Economic News official website.

Flexibility of the solution was regarded by experts as the primary criterion indicating the level of remote banking services. It is important to know that the term covers both the ability of the solution to meet various needs of the bank’s customers and the possibility for the bank to customize the product responding to ever changing market conditions.

The 1st rating was given to Bank24.ru with its in-house Internet banking system fully integrated with ABS and TranzWare processing system, thus rendering its customers the broadest set of real time management capabilities.

Special attention should be given to the fact that the Internet bank system TranzWare eBank from Compass Plus used by the runner-up, i.e. the Ural Bank for Reconstruction and Development, was ahead of Alfa Click, the Internet bank system viewed as No.1 in Russia, and the counterpart product supplied by the remote banking services provider BSS.

The Bank’s press service said: “Amongst the benefits that are worth mentioning are lower commissions we have to pay to our external partners and additional SMS bank functionality enabling our customers to manage their accounts, in particular, to use Internet bank templates for payments, to view the account balance, and so on. Our private customers now have an opportunity to create and review their payment and funds transfer schedules”.

Today, the following Russian banks have TranzWare eBank by Compass Plus in operation: AF Bank, Koltso Urala Bank, Credit Ural Bank, Lipetskcombank, Metcombank, Moscow Industrial Bank, NOMOS Bank, Primorye Bank, SIAB, SMP Bank, Sobinbank, Finservice Bank, Transportny Bank, The Ural Bank for Reconstruction and Development, UralTransBank, Center-Invest Bank. TranzWare eBank is also used by other Compass Plus customers from the CIS, Asia and Africa.

Currently, a number of Russian banks are implementing the updated version TranzWare eBank 5.0 called TranzWare Internet Banking. The key point of difference in the new version is that the interface is separated from the system logic and is based on widgets, which will provide enormous capabilities of the product modification and customisation not only to financial institutions, but also to banks’ customers.
